Proxy Studio
an l2/l3 venture studio
Proxy is bootstrapping a venture studio on Farcaster and Base. Open Ventures is the studio's first project: a subscription-gated newsletter, community, and decentralized trading fund Mercenary Capital.
(01)  OVERVIEW
Proxy x OpSys - Worlds Collide
We were referred to Proxy Studio via a close collaborator of ours, kugusha.eth, to help create a brand which captured the three-legged stool of the studio: community, research and trading. After our first meeting we were presented with a brief that was so aligned with our aesthetic, we couldn't be more thrilled to start ideating.

(02)  CHALLENGE
The Digital Landscape's Big Bang
The Challenge as laid out by Proxy: "When I think of Proxy Studio's brand I think of NY downtown kids meets privatized military technology. I've spent quite a bit of time thinking about the brand from the perspective of an all-seeing eye, Think drones watching over a landscape, the landscape is digital and the drone is armed, finding targets. Likewise, I also want Proxy to be supernormal yet omnipresent. It's an exclusive group. We win, but we win casually."

(03)  Solution
alternate visions built-in
We arrived at an aesthetic that vibrates like the big bang of the universe. The studio's vision in a nutshell. Palantir meets metaphysical understanding. The birth of the universe is all about being everywhere at once, winning without breaking a sweat. This is just the beginning of the branding process. Next steps will be focused on dimensional growth of visual artifacts as the Proxy universe expands. Stay tuned.

"Working with OpSys was a dream. Being able to work with a designer who can read between the lines, who understands my vision before I can fully articulate it was so incredibly valuable and brought us to a much better, more singular product than I imagined from the start."
